Marcel the shell...
We found this little gem posted on the SLOG (thank you Stranger). It’s pretty cute and hilarious. We just had to share it with you.

Oh joy, Oden.
We currently have Odin Brewery Freya's Kolsch (South Park, Seattle, Wa). This beer is Odin’s take on the gold Kolsch-style ales native to Cologne, Germany. A barely detectable hint of ginger emphasizes the traditional crisp flavor. The light yet powerful flavors of the kolsch are perfect with the creamy earthiness of the chanterelle pizza. Limited availability.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
Claire Joyce, thanks for being rad.
If I remember correctly...I believe that the video was produced in one day. We practice the three R's everyday and we were so impressed by the work of these students, we hope it reminds you to do the same. What a great way to inspire a new (...and old) generation of earth lovers.
The caption below the video:
The Visiting artist, Claire Joyce, worked with 4 different 5th grade classes to create one stop-animation film celebrating our living earth. Students brought in the materials for the film, using all recycled and re-purposed items such as cardboard for trees, plastic straws for worms, and bubble wrap for clouds.

fall's sweet candy
We adore many of our beloved PNW fungi and fall is one our favorite times of the year thanks to the chanterelle. We want to share our love with you and what better way than to add our seasonal chanterelle pizza to our menu. Composed of a white wine béchamel, grana, local chanterelles, garlic, and thyme. This pizza is meant to highlight one of the great foraged delicacies of the northwest.
